Allmänt om verksamheten

As an outdoor large group events company, we were at the epicenter of businesses worst hit by the coronavirus pandemic. After initially tripling YOY in Q1 2020, we then saw Q2 2020 revenue decline by 86%, with 100% of our booked clients for Q2 & Q3 either cancelling or indefinitely postponing on account of the pandemic.

However, a successful pivot into online products and services led to an average 389% MOM growth rate from the launch in late May 2020 until the end of Q4 2020. Overall, the company still grew modestly YOY (13%).

Due to the pandemic, outdoor activities were wound down in the Netherlands in mid-2020. Although still registered for VAT and with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, we currently have no employees or inventory in that jurisdiction.

With the exception of the Netherlands, operations for outdoor activities continued in all existing 2019 markets, albeit severely affected by the pandemic.

We also expanded our outdoor activity territories by entering into our first licence agreement for the 100 Point Challenge city game concept with the entity RunRunTours in the city of Paris. Due to the pandemic, the initial months of the partnership have been spent primarily in product development.

The new online offering opened up the company to a global market for the first time, particularly the US, UK, Canada and Europe, both as a digital product (“Do It Yourself Games”) and a digital service (“facilitated games”). In the second half of the year, we built five unique problem-solving games, worked with over 4000 teams, and attracted repeat business from some of the most recognizable companies in the world.

On account of this success, a proportion of profit was reinvested into the first round of software development for online game delivery, to be expanded upon in 2021, including the introduction of a SaaS platform.

A particularly strong December (the highest MoM revenue since incorporation) left the company with good liquidity moving into the beginning of 2021.

The HQ remains in Stockholm, Svartmangatan 18.

Väsentliga händelser under räkenskapsåret

We received some financial support (furlough) from the Government during the most difficult period of the year, spring/summer 2020, during the peak of the pandemic. This amounted to around 200,000 SEK.
